I have my final exam in Intermediate Macroeconomics in 30minutes. All these equations are giving me headache so I just want to get rid of it.

Life is strange. The weather in Chicago has been really crappy. Gray, rainy and cold. And now when I need it to be exactly like all the other months, it turns out being 28 degrees and sun. Of course the weather forecast for the upcoming weekend is rain and cold again, which sucks!

Today is my last whole day at NPU, I will move out from campus tomorrow night. Cannot wait!

The last weekend at NPU. All swedish students' had a farwell dinner at Cheesecake Factory. We also waylayed to celebrate Fredrik's 24th Birthday.

Since the sun was shining the first time in five days we ended up down town at Navy Pier. After some a little snack in the sun we went for a ride in the Ferris wheel. It was such a fantastic view over the Chicago skyline from the top of it.

My weekend this week seems to be pretty boring. After my work out at the gym I will spend the rest of the day studying. Hopefully something fun will happen tonight.

Just two lectures left and then the cab is waiting. I am so excited!

I have forgotten to show you what mum gave me. I got the biggest Easter egg ever! With almost three kilos of Swedish candy. How crazy! I had almost forgotten how tasty Swedish candy really is. It will be a challenge though to finish it before the semester ends.

Tomorrow at 6pm are we on the way to NYC. I really hope the weather will be nice. The forecast does not look too sanguine, pretty much rain the whole weekend. Lucky us we booked our accommodation at Hilton. If the weather turns out being too crappy we can always spend the time at the gym or in the Jacuzzi.

This weekend is only pleasure, with other words no shopping or accepts from awesome second hand shopping in Soho. We will just spend our time in the Big Apple drinking cocktails, partying in Meatpacking District and enjoying the NYC atmosphere with all it has to offer.

Now it is time for me to get ready. I have to get some study done before class.

I promised you yesterday to show you some of my latest shopping. My best purchase was definitely the wallet. I have been looking for a new one forever, and I finally found this in a perfect size.

Tonight are J and I going to celebrate her real birthday with the Lady Gaga concert at United Center in Chicago. Lady Gaga is the coolest performer on stage. I do look forward for the show and especially to contemplate her outfits. United Center is the biggest indoor arena in North America, it takes around 26 000 people which is twice as much as Globen in Stockholm.

I will spend my afternoon at the gym and then I have to put on my Poker Face.

I have got a new haircut today. Highlights, color and a cut for $60. CRAZY! I am so satisfied with it. Exactly that golden/blond color I have struggling to get in almost a year now. And how cheap, it is not even possible to get just a haircut for that price in Sweden!

Tonight is Harry Potter-night. J & I are going to watch it at NPU's cinema with alot of cheese chips which is our new favorit!

Yesterday afternoon was spent in Wicker Park. A place I would say is like Brooklyn in NYC or like Söder in Stockholm. After some secondhand shopping we ended up at a Tapas Restaurant. Then I realized even more that I love this city, where in Sweden is it possible to get a free refill on wine?

After a decision to order pizza online from Pizza Hut, we were suppose to take the elevator down to the entrance floor and pay the delivery guy but we got stuck in the elevator. For 45 min! Finally the firefighters’ came and wrenched up the door, but we missed out of our home delivery.

Hungry as we were we ordered a new pizza and chicken wings from Pizza Hut. Following an hour of waiting we called the restaurant and they told us that the order had been canceled. How could that happened? Lucky we, the girl that was working in the entrance helped us ordering a pizza from a restaurant closer to campus. Finally when we were presume to go up the stairs to the eight floor, the second Pizza Hut order (that was canceled) arrived. There was nothing right this night, but after the late night pizza dinner we were satisfied anyway. 

Just a little footnote, that my professor always says, now we have to walk up and down to the eight floor until they have fixed the elevator. I don’t think I have to go to the gym the upcoming days.

30 minutes power nap in a chair at the library today. That's how inefficient I am.

I just came home from Broadway. We started the night with a glas of Champagne in the bar before the show started. The musicals in Sweden are nothing to compare to those in the US. The songs and dances were just overwhelming and the different stage set ups for the acts were enormous.

We are going to see Les Miserables on Broadway in Chicago tonight. Has anyone of you seen it somewhere else? What I have heard of, it is presume in fact to be really good and has a lot of famous actors and dancers.

The winter came this morning and gave the spring a bitchslap, and the snow is now back in town. I don’t mind if the weather is cold as long as it doesn’t snow, which is exactly what it does at the moment.

My La Familia is at the moment in Austria and enjoys a splending week in the Alp’s. I think I need a vacations as well, lucky us that we are going to Mexico in less than three weeks.

I live in a Women’s Christian Prison. Today I will show you exactly what I mean. This is just a little part of the whole total. Mostly every week we get e-mails about things to pray for, example during the blizzard.
